Welcome. 🙏 A deep bow to you and your heart...
I’m Katie, and I am so grateful that you’re here— exploring mindfulness, prioritizing your well-being, and exploring the deepest inner truths of who you really are.
It's my joy and honor to serve as a teacher and coach of mindfulness and holistic wellbeing. Over the past decade and a half, I have worked in international schools teaching mindfulness meditation, self-care, social-emotional skills, and the principles of happiness based on Positive Psychology to empower students, parents, and educators.
Since childhood, I've been fascinated by the human mind, the nature of life, and the mysteries of reality itself. This lifelong curiosity, paired with years of meditation, self-inquiry, and professional study, has led to immense and unimaginable inner transformation—one that continues to unfold. I’ve come to understand that a dedication to ‘seeing clearly’ and cultivating compassion are the secrets to loosening limiting beliefs and becoming the architect of our own mind. What appears to be a seemingly unending journey of discovery, healing, and self-understanding is actually the deeply gratifying process of becoming who we truly are. My passion is to share these transformational lessons with others.
Mindfulness is a fundamental pillar of a thriving life, and an incredible catalyst for change. It is a process of expanding our capacity to radically embrace what is and make wiser choices from a place of spaciousness. Each morning, I revisit my core intention of living with an awakened heart... The truth is that while it is simple, it is not always easy. Having companions and guidance on the path makes all the difference.
I am a graduate of MMTCP under the guidance of renowned Buddhist teachers and psychologists, Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, in collaboration with the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley. While primarily rooted in the Insight Meditation Society lineage and other forms of integrated Buddhism, I draw knowledge from many global philosophies and recognize that profound insights are woven into every culture. While living in Southeast Asia for the past 8 years, I have had the privilege of attending many extended, silent retreats and meditation courses from multiple traditions, as well as the opportunity to be surrounded by living, modern Buddhism. I am currently completing my Counselling certification from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors to continue broadening my knowledge of psychological theory and applied practice, as well as a specialized certificate program in Mindfulness & Psychotherapy from IMP, in partnership with The Barre Center for Buddhist Studies and in affiliation with the Cambridge Health Alliance & Harvard Medical School.
At the heart of my philosophy is listening to the body’s innate wisdom—understanding that slowing down and taking care of ourselves is, in itself, a radical act in today’s fast-moving, attention-driven world, as well as knowing that the body is always here to guide us with intuition and already-perfect presence.
My professional background in education has allowed me to work with hundreds of students across all dispositions, personalities, and types of need. This experience has been invaluable in helping me craft teachings differentiated to individual learners and understand their unique next steps. Perhaps most importantly, it has given me the expertise of being able to connect with the softest and most sensitive part alive within each of us: our inner child. My culminating Master’s Degree meta-analysis was focused on Mindfulness in Education. It was the beginning of my academic mindfulness studies, and fueled my passion for sharing the power of meditation with children, in hopes that they might not have to spend as much time as myself unlearning thought patterns and the tricks of monkey mind…
As an international Mindfulness & Wellbeing Coordinator, I have trained with Mindful Schools, Responsive Classroom, and Positive Education, been invited as a speaker for the Global Mindfulness in Education Summit, consulted for educators and schools from Argentina to Vietnam, and have led a multitude of professional development courses for staff in both personal and professional mindfulness training.

My deepest aspiration is to co-create a world where compassion and connection lead the way. By drawing inspiration and humility from nature and her cycles, we can remember that we are here only as temporary, sacred guests, and we can loosen the grip of our attachment to unskillful identifications. It is this attunement and knowing the truth of our greater interconnectedness that allows us to touch the essence of shared humanity. I believe that it is only from this space that we can create a lasting, more harmonious world. We strive to embody these virtues as we simultaneously honor the challenges and hardships of our times.
It is worth remembering that our minds quite literally shape our reality, and the world we are making together. Conscious, mindful living is not one-size-fits-all, but some universal truths remain: Inner peace is your true nature. Experience is your greatest teacher. And love is undeniably who you long to remember you are.
My greatest hope is in our waking up, together.
May we discover the power of our own inner transformation.
May we awaken to the highest potential of our minds and hearts.
May we live with compassion and appreciation of our deep interconnectiveness.
May we illuminate the path towards equanimity and our collective evolution.
And may all people experience kindness, healing, and freedom.
With gratitude and warmth,
Katie
